This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the District of Squamish (the “District”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Xwu’nekw Park Sea Dike & Upgrades, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). 

Xwu'nekw Park (pronounced Whoo-Nay-Oak) is located in Squamish, BC on the Mamquam Blind Channel and Loggers Lane between Victoria and Main Street. 

The project generally consists of construction of a new vertical sheet pile dike with associated required ground improvement, a waterfront walkway, an integrated habitat enhancement area for intertidal plantings, and a new concrete pier that supports fixed gangways from the dike down to a floating dock on the Mamquam Blind Channel.
