The District is accepting proposals from qualified contractors to deliver upgrades at Jimmy Jimmy (Judd) Slough Dike to raise the dike to protect against a 1:500-year flood event. Proposed upgrades consist of stripping organic material from the landside of the dike, stripping granular base layer from the dike crest, removal of localized rip-rap, placement of dike fill, placement of rip-rap filter and rip-rap layers, and raising existing landside and riverside access ramps.
