This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the District of Squamish (the “District”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Landfill Scale Attendant Services, as further described in the Solicitation document.

Scale Attendant Services include the provision of a Scale Attendant to greet, direct and process payments from customers and visitors at the Squamish Landfill Weigh Scale, and in close communication with the Landfill Operator (another contractor). Scale Attendants play a critical role as the first point of contact at the site to ensure a safe and efficient customer experience, while supporting waste diversion goals and accepting payment for service. A Scale Attendant Manual is available as a resource with guidance on policies and procedures.
