The District is seeking a qualified consultant who can support the advancement of its social procurement practices in a way that takes into consideration the strategic objectives of transitioning to a circular economy, advancing economic reconciliation and transforming and facilitating Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA).

The scope of work will generally include an internal assessment focused on the current state of engagement with social procurement, building internal capacity and the challenges of applying social procurement to procurement activities, staff training within a change management framework, identification and collaboration with stakeholder groups, and piloting social procurement initiatives.
