This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the District of Squamish (the “District”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Powerhouse Springs Well 8 Design & Consultation, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). 

An additional well is required at the Powerhouse Springs well site to meet projected maximum day demand (MDD) by increasing the wellfield’s capacity and ensuring long-term reliability of the District’s water supply system. The District is seeking proposals from qualified engineering consultants to provide a full range of professional services for the Powerhouse Springs Wellfield Upgrades including electrical, mechanical, civil, environmental, and hydrotechnical disciplines. The scope includes investigation, design, permitting, electrical upgrades, and construction services for a new production well, electrical upgrades, and associated infrastructure. Archeological services are not included in this scope of work.
