Description: |
The District of Squamish is planning to undertake an extensive upgrade at the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). Proposed WWTP upgrades consist of construction of a new circular bioreactor/clarifier tank, associated piping and a new septage receiving station. Ground under the proposed circular tank has been excavated to approx.1.5m below grade, impacted utilities under the proposed circular footprint have been decommissioned and relocated. Ground improvements (deep soil mixing) under circular tank are underway. The District has retained WSP to provide the consulting engineering services for this project. WSP will act as the designer of record for the upgrade project, and as inspector and contract administrator. |
