Description: |
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the District of Squamish (the “District”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the supply and implementation of an Asset and Work Management System (AWMS), as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). Squamish is a fast-growing community of approx. 25,000 residents ideally situated on the scenic Sea to Sky Highway between Vancouver, British Columbia's largest city and Whistler, a four-season mountain resort consistently ranked the number one ski resort in North America. The District is a service-driven municipal organization whose daily mission is to meet the needs of its residents to ensure a safe, highly functioning, and livable community. The scope of this AWMS project includes system design, configuration, testing, training, deployment, ongoing support, and other related services. It is expected that the AWMS project will provide the District with a fully functional asset and work order management solution. This system should integrate seamlessly with our existing technology environments, offering functionalities like creating and managing asset data, managing service requests, streamlining work order workflows, implementing preventative maintenance plans, and tracking equipment and standard costs. Ultimately, this AWMS will serve as a central hub for all asset-related information, improving efficiency, cost control, and informed decision-making across the District's operations. |
