| Description: |
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the District of Squamish (the “District”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for a Sustainable Stormwater Service Delivery Plan, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). The District of Squamish is seeking a professional engineering consulting firm to assist with the development of a Sustainable Stormwater Service Delivery Plan (referred to as the Plan) for the Squamish River East and Mamquam River watersheds. The objective of this Plan is to integrate the elements of a traditional Integrated Stormwater Management Plan (ISMP) with those of a traditional Asset Management Plan, while incorporating natural asset management principles and processes. The Plan represents Phase 3 of the District’s process to develop Integrated Stormwater Management Plans for watersheds throughout the District. The proponent would be required to appoint a contact person (and back-up) to receive and respond to the District’s requests and questions. This person would need to remain consistent throughout the duration of the term of this work and any necessary changes to the contact person would be subject to the District’s approval. The proponent would be expected to drive the assigned projects to meet the established timelines. This will require the proponent to be proactive in their project management approach, including but not limited to, regularly scheduled project meetings, conference calls and other means of communication to achieve the deadlines imposed. |
