This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the District of Squamish (the “District”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the development and delivery of an Emergency Operations Centre Intensive Training Program as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). 

The District is seeking qualified professionals possessing the appropriate technical expertise to:

• Provide an intensive Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) Training Program for the District’s staff members who make up the EOC Core Team, as well as interested Public Safety Lifeline Volunteers and (space permitting) EOC staff from neighboring jurisdictions in the Sea to Sky area;
• Deliver the intensive training program in a series of short modules based on the most important components of British Columbia Emergency Management System (BCEMS) and Provincial EOC standards;
• Focus on specific EOC roles/sections in separate sessions, discussed in more detail in the RFP document.
